 Radio Frequency Identification reader

Purpose:

The RFID is used to detect identification and information from an RFID tag. The device can be used to validate identification before performing a desired action, such as how the RFID on a door can be used validate identity before allowing an external system to unlock the door.

Where it’s used:

Can be used in devices that require valid identification before performing an action. Eg. Doors, Safes, Checkpoints

How they function:

The RFID reader detects a specific radio frequency from the RFID tag. The tag can be inputted into a system and the RFID specified to the specific person can be registered.
